Welcome to Helsinki Creative where design for the individual is our focus. In an age where so much is mass produced and done without thought, Helsinki Creative takes an opposite approach. We look at your individual needs and search to find the solution to your design problem.

Helsinki / Standard Definition: (ˈhɛlsɪŋkiFinnish pronunciation: Helsingfors, the capital and largest city of Finland. It is in the region of Uusimaa,  located in southern Finland, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, an arm of the Baltic Sea. Helsinki has a population of 621,863, an urban population of 1.2 million (31 December 2013), and a metropolitan population of 1.4 million, making it the most populous municipality and urban area in Finland.

HELSINKI / Our Definition: When my husband, David and I were dating, we kept running into similarities of thought, commonalities of background and moments were jinks were occurring on a regular basis. On our first date, David gave me a copy of The Facts Behinds the Helsinki Roccamatios and Other Short Stories by Yann Martel. I was surprised when David mentioned the collection since Martel was one my favorite authors and I had yet to read the book. If a guy gives you a good book you haven’t read instead of flowers, he’s a keeper. I finished the book just about the time I knew that this was the guy for me. One night during a phone conversation we were having our odd synergistic moment I said, “That’s it! There has to be word for this. I know – HELSINKI! It even has SINK (SYNCH) in the pronunciation.” So that’s our definition beyond a city in Finland and reason we have our name.

At Helsinki Creative, we want our clients to have a similar experience – where the relationship is so in tune that your ideas and our work harmonizes to create a one of kind solution to your design needs.
